Very nice atmosphere. The boss is always present and very attentive in a pleasant way. The food is recommended. We would love to come back.

This restaurant is just wonderful. Every service is very friendly and courteous. The dishes are fresh and very tasty. When I thought of the fried potatoes, I had to think of my childhood, they tasted like it did with grandma 🥰 When we went back 2 days later because it was so delicious, the fried potatoes were delicious but not quite as crispy, we said that too and we got an additional portion for free, which was just great again. We will definitely visit this restaurant again on our next North Sea vacation

Upmarket price range, but adequate for the quality of the food. Very tasty, very nice service, the boss is very warm. We like to come here on our vacation.

We recommend! There were four of us, 2 adults and 2 children. Although we didn't have a reservation and it was obviously well booked, we were provided with a table. The staff is very nice, the food delicious in sufficient portions and the location is very cozy. If we (are allowed to) spend our vacation in this area again, we will definitely come back.

The quality of the food was good to very good. But the waiting time was a disaster: half an hour for tea before the food was served, of course it took much longer, even though the place wasn't very full. The waitress didn't even think it appropriate to apologize for the wait.

Unfortunately, the service here was very poor. We only got one round to drink. It was not asked whether it should be a second round. The waitress was in a very bad mood, which you could tell. Not nice words for the guests. The food was super good. Even if my partner didn't get the dessert he ordered 🙈.

Very great ambience, mega-friendly service, food really delicious ... fried potatoes incredibly good. The guests are taken very seriously and action is taken immediately if there is a shortcoming ... again and again ... as long as I / we are in the vicinity😊👍

We (4 friends) were fooled by the location and appearance. Toilets (men and women) dirty. Service hardly available, 30 minutes for the menu, then 70 minutes for the food, no demand for drinks. Non-carbonated cola, warm beer .... No sauces, no remoulade, fish absolutely without taste .. After we noted that the fish didn't taste good - like fat that was too hot, every fish from the same pan ... - we got an acceptable discount on the bill with a big apology ... Our best experience was unfortunately the warm plate ... tourist trap ... a shame.

Food not of the usual quality. Thrown lovelessly out of the plate, hardly seasoned. Junior boss only makes big pants when mom is not there. It's a shame, there was always a restaurant, but this service is poor. Other restaurants, on the other hand, have caught up a lot. E.g. the Portuguese at the wave pool. Top performance on the other hand.

The food in the old tailor shop is consistently delicious, no matter what you order, the food tastes good, as is the tagliatelle with salmon today. The menu is clear, but there is still something for every taste. The service staff is incredibly friendly and always eager. You always feel welcome. Still my absolute favorite restaurant in Hooksiel and always worth a visit!

A nice quaint restaurant. The food is really very good and freshly prepared. Only the waiting times for the food are sometimes a bit long. It is understandable when it is very full, especially during vacation time. Still, it would be nice if it didn't take 20-30 minutes or even longer to get the food. The staff is attentive and very friendly. That also deserves mentioning.

Although it was very full, we were kindly shown to our table. The waiting time for the order was in line with the rush, but not too long. The staff always asked what we wanted and the fish plate was worth the wait. Totally delicious, to be recommended at any time!

The food was good. However, the service left a lot to be desired. I ordered another dessert. After 20 minutes I asked again. After 30 minutes I asked for the bill on which the dessert was calculated. When I asked the waiter about it, he asked about it in the kitchen. I had ordered red groats with custard. It had run out and you had to make new ones. I was only informed about this process more than 30 minutes after ordering. I would otherwise have 5 stars against.

Very friendly staff who work hand in hand. Drinks and dishes were served quickly and were freshly prepared and very tasty. We would love to come back again.

Service & atmosphere all good .. Most expensive fish platter for 2 people was unfortunately not good. For the money you can just expect more ..
